Application of Toner, Serums and MoisturizerThis is the last step in a facial. Toner is used to restore skin's pH balance after using a cleanser because cleansers raise the skin's natural pH to a level that isn't good for your skin. Serums are highly concentrated with anti-aging and other beneficial ingredients for your skin. Moisturizer locks in the moisture – hydrates the skin, it can also mattify the skin. Most of moisturizers are also appropriate as a base for makeup.
